NEWS CENTER Maine Weather Forecast

Nice evening, rain holds off until late Sunday

MAINE, Maine — Download the NEWS CENTER Maine app for updates based on your location.

We’ll get some clearing continuing for southern Maine with more clouds for northern and eastern parts of the state tonight. Rain holds off on Sunday until late in the day as it moves in from west to east. It will be a persistent shield of rain overnight into early Monday morning, but not very heavy. Look for some lingering showers on Monday, especially early and midday, then the sky clears as high pressure moves in. Tuesday is a day to savor because after that it gets very gloomy from Wednesday on. It will be rainy and cloudy through the end of next week as we get stuck in a wet and cool pattern.
